Welcome to Tali Open 2009!

Tali Open is the largest disc golf event in Helsinki. The sixth Tali Open is held at Tali Disc Golf Park, the best and most challenging course in Finland.

We are using staggered starts for the first time in history of Tali Open. The competition will be a three-day event consisting of three rounds.

The groups start with 12 minute intervals. The groups and tee times for Friday are picked by random. The groups and tee times are published on this website on Sunday 16th August 2009. Saturday's groups and tee times are determined according to Fridays results. The different divisions play in separate groups on Sunday.

Players must check in one hour before the scheduled tee time on Friday and 30 minutes before Saturday and Sunday rounds.

The doubles competition takes place on Thursday 20th August. The doubles are played in best shot format. The doubles competition consists of 18 holes.

Tali Open 2009 divisions and entry fees are:

Open: Open for all players, 60 €
Women: Open for all female players, 60 €
Master: Open for those born 1969 or earlier, 60 €
GrandMaster: Open for those born 1959 or earlier, 60 €
Juniors: Open for those born 1990 or later, 20 €

The payment deadline is 31st July 2009. You can ensure your place in competition only by paying entry fee before the due date. The field capacity is 140 players. The following spots are reserved until 21st June 2009:

• 24 spots are reserved 2009 PDGA EuroPros (see here)
• 24 spots are reserved for Finnish Pro division players with player ratings of 900+ (men) and 800+ (women),
• 10 spots are reserved for Pro Women players
• 20 spots are reserved for the Junior division
• 8 wild card spots are reserved for players of TD’s choice (until 26th of July)

If there are more registrants after all the free spots on the field have been taken, a waiting list is established.
